Mother’s Day Celebration

In April, the Children’s Home celebrated Nepal’s Mother’s Day, Mata Tirtha Aunsi, honoring the love and care of maternal figures. The day began with a shared meal and was followed by a traditional tika ceremony, where each child received blessings from caregivers. Children also presented handmade cards to express their gratitude, and the celebration ended with cake, dancing, and colorful decorations. The event highlighted the deep emotional bonds between children and their caregivers and reflected the cultural significance of honoring nurturing love in Nepali tradition.
